iBookUnion is a non-profit, fully student run consignment textbook store at UBC. Towards the end of 2008 I volunteered to re-create the organization’s website from ground up. I worked with iBU’s student management team as well as 2 other computer science students at UBC. I designed the layout of the page, coded it up in HTML and CSS and a little PHP. Then after showing the results to the team, I incorporated their suggestions and advice before the site’s final launch.

I no longer maintain the site, and some snazzy animation has been added to the navigation from my original design (I think it looks awesome!) but I still host the site as an add-on domain in my hosting package and provided help when needed!

iBU is a really great place to sell and get your textbooks, all profits are donated to charity ($500 to BC Children’s Hospital in 2008-2009) so check them out if you go to UBC!
